Grand Canyon National Park
Grand Canyon
Grand Canyon National Park
The Grand Canyon National Park located entirely in northern Arizona is one of the great tourist attractions in the United States. Visitors come to see and explore the over a mile deep, 277 mile long, and 7 to 18 mile wide gorge. The Colorado River flows through the canyon and takes tourists on the ride of their lives. Visitors arrive at the more remote North Rim or the more accessible South Rim. Both areas have several options for camping, as well as hotels and restaurants. The park offers visitors unforgettable outdoor adventures: hiking, rafting, airplane and helicopter tours, motorcoach tours, mule rides, star gazing, bicycling, and ranger programs.
