Mazatlán is located on Mexico’s Pacific coast, just across from the southernmost tip of Baja California. This popular tourist destination is also Mexico's most important fishing port. Its biggest exports are shrimp and tuna. Tourists and locals catch about 15.000 sailfish and marlin each year.
