Mazatlan

Mazatlán is located on Mexico’s Pacific coast, just across from the southernmost tip of Baja California. This popular tourist destination is also Mexico's most important fishing port. Its biggest exports are shrimp and tuna. Tourists and locals catch about 15.000 sailfish and marlin each year. Most tourists hang out on a two mile / three kilometer stretch of beach lined with amazing resorts, which provide tourists with countless options to fill their vacation. Mazatlán’s water sports, tours to nearby islands and towns, championship golf, tennis, fine restaurants, lively bars and discos keep tourists occupied. Mazatlán is a great beach destination for honeymooners with a budget as its prices are more affordable than other Pacific coast tourist destinations.
