Norway
Host of the 1992 winter Olympics, Norway is more than ski slopes and white snow. The bigger cities of Oslo, Bergen, and Stavanger offer visitors a great atmosphere with their old town areas and lively nightlife and cultural scenes. The smaller quaint cities, such as Fredrikstad and Haugesund, give tourists a real taste of Norwegian culture. Norway is also proud to present visitors its breathtaking rugged landscape with forested hills and valleys, mountains, waterfalls, and a beautiful western coastline accented by amazing fjords and islands. Adventurous outdoor enthusiasts won’t run out of amazing ways to enjoy this beautiful country. Norway’s scenery is definitely an amazing backdrop for an unforgettable honeymoon.

Activities
Norway is a jackpot for outdoor enthusiasts and the most adventurous of travelers. Cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, alpine climbing and snowboarding are popular winter activities. In the summer, enjoy the breathtaking scenery by going hiking, biking, kayaking, wildwater rafting or paragliding.
Looking for a truly unique wildlife experience? Observe killer whales in Lofoten from mid-October to mid-January. In late autumn, when the herring return to Tysfjorden for the winter, they are followed by between 500 and 700 hungry killer whales. The bravest whale watchers are actually allowed to swim among them when conditions are favorable. Safaris either in large passenger boats or in rubber dinghies are available.
