Seychelles

Seychelles Giant Tortoise

Seychelles

Officially the Republic of Seychelles, it is an archipelago nation of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean, some 930 miles east of mainland Africa, northeast of the island of Madagascar. Seychelles has the smallest population of any sovereign state of Africa. Honeymooners will revel in the biodiversity of the islands, including some of the largest seabird colonies in the world. The marine life around the islands, especially the remote coral islands, is nothing short of spectacular with over 1000 species of fish.  Needless to say the Seychelles are very popular with scuba diving and snorkling enthusiasts. With so much to do, it is still possible to just find a secluded beach and veg out, another very popular activity with newlyweds.
