Treasure Beach, Jamaica
Treasure Beach, Jamaica
The Treasure Beach area on the southwest coast of Jamaica is defined by the Santa Cruz Mountain chain, the cascading Pedro Plains and a string of sleepy fishing villages. The area is drier than the rest of the island and features cacti and acacia in the place of palm trees. The laid-back atmosphere and lack of mass tourism is attracting some tourists to experience endless natural coastlines, the Black River and “the real Jamaica”.
