Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Resort & Spa - Your Active Resort
Huge is the best way to describe this resort. It is a very spread-out resort. If you are looking to step out of your room and walk just a little ways to eat or to get to the beach or the entertainment, this might not be the resort for you. They do have a shuttle that runs from the Lobby area to the Bluff section and back or you can hike it if you want to. It’s up a hill. It’s set-up like a resort within a resort with the bluff area which is beautiful. It has some of the most amazing views I have ever seen and it is very quiet and relaxed. It has its own pool with a swim-up bar and Armando's restaurant. The main part of the resort and the main pool is where most people hang out during the day. The drinks are flowing and the music is playing!
This resort is home to the Famous Plunge Pool Suites with your very own private plunge pool....these are FANTASTIC! They have floats on each patio for the pool. The pool suites up on the Bluff all have butlers so there is really no need to leave!
The main pool is not that large and seemed a bit crowded to me. If you are looking for action, this is the place for you! There are two other pools, up on the Bluff and another ½ way between the Main Hotel and the Bluff. The pool on the Bluff was quiet and not crowded and they have a swim-up pool bar as well. We did not see the third pool.
We had lunch at The Pavilion, which is a buffet and it was good. They had a lot of warm foods and it was hot out so we didn't eat too much but what we had was great. They did have coconut ice cream that was OUT OF THIS WORLD!
The other restaurants that are here are:
Armando's (Italian) which is located up on the Bluff.
La Toc (French) White Glove Service!
Piton (Caribbean) with gorgeous views!
Kimonos (Asian) It's like Bennihana where they cook in front of you. It's fun!
Arizona (Southwestern) offers a salad bar.
Since this is a "Signature" Resort you will also have the Late Night Buffets - Chocolate & Flavored Coffees / Martini's & Seafood. These are each offered once a week.
They also have a par 32 9-hole Golf Course on site. You can golf at this resort even if you are staying at any other resorts.
