Mystic Mountain
Mystic Mountain chair lift to the top of mountain

Mystic Mountain is a new attraction overlooking Ocho Rios that opened in August of 2008. Visitors ride four-person chair lifts to the top of the mountain. The view is incredible as you ride above the canopy overlooking the ocean. At the top there is a tribute to all Jamaican Olympic medalists. It is done very well. Jamaicans have great pride in their country and their athletes. There is also a bobsled run on tracks. You control the speed, which is very fun! There is also a zipline, with 6 lines. I have been on 3 of these and they are run very well. The guides were well trained; it was very smooth, safe and exciting. This was the best zipline I have been on as far as how easy the guides made it for each person. They get you all setup, push you off and catch you at the end. And of course, all the guides have very entertaining personalities!
